January, 2013 -On Thursday evening, January 10th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., please join us on a monumental evening: the Official Launch Party and Book Signing for the Faces Book and the Birthday Bash for Palmer's 39th Birthday! Palmer will be proudly signing copies of his latest book release: the 11th in his career and only the 2nd to feature an amazing Hardcover edition. All other Palmer publications will be on sale for you to add to your Palmer book collection! Birthday cake from the legendary Moeller's Bakery in Houston will be served--don't miss this!! -Palmer's exclusive First Class Club will convene at the John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio to sip wine and hear the announcement of Palmer's 2013 study-abroad destination! This is a by-invitation-only closed event. -For the first-time-ever, the John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio will begin hosting a once-monthly Thursday evening Open Studio. For those of you that have difficulty making weekend events, this is your perfect opportunity to stop by the gallery after a day's work, bring friends, sip on a glass of wine or two and check out all of Palmer's vibrant art pieces and merchandise. -The January Saturday at Uptown, located on the Upper Deck of BB1 Classic at Uptown Park, will feature amazing new merchandise and custom gift-wrapping by The Hardest Working Man in the Art Business, John Ross Palmer. Stop in style with a glass of champagne and pick up all of those fabulous items that Santa neglected to bring you! -From January 23-27, John Palmer Fine Art of Houston will exhibit for a second consecutive year at the prestigious Los Angeles Art Show amidst galleries from around the globe at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Our Booth will feature Palmer's Art Movement of Escapism and in addition to the artwork of Escapism Founder John Ross Palmer, the gallery will show works by 2010 Escapist Edgar Medina, 2011 Escapist Nubia Gala-Seibert and 2012 Escapist Tra` Slaughter. John Palmer Fine Art is the only gallery selected to exhibit from the Great State of Texas. February, 2013 -During the week of February 4th to 8th, pay attention to the John Ross Palmer Artist Page on Facebook and "Vote" for your choice of Name of Palmer's 2013 Commission Art Project by Liking the Image of one of the Five Finalists: Milestones, Moments, Priceless, Terroir and V.I.Palmer. -On the evening of Friday, February 8th, please join us at the John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio at 1218 Heights Boulevard from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to enjoy fine wine, devour pizza, meet new art-loving friends and bust open the crates of artwork returning from the 18th Annual Los Angeles Art Show! Saturday, February 16th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. March, 2013 -On the morning of Saturday March 9th, select John Palmer Art collectors will convene at the John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio to view never-been-seen-before original paper pieces that have returned from our publisher in Austin, Texas. This is a private event. -On St. Patrick's Day, Sunday, March 17th, Escapism Founder John Ross Palmer will host the 2013 Escapist Artists at the John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio for their Group Meeting. This is a private event. -On the night of Thursday, March 21st, RELAX at the John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio will also feature original Palmer works of art that have been featured in his art books: Escapism (2004), Seven (2005) and The Art of Meaningful Living (2009) as well as prized, rare international art series pieces that are documented in his first-class Catalogues. 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. here at 1218 Heights Boulevard. -The March Saturday at Uptown, located on the Upper Deck of BB1 Classic at Uptown Park, will feature Spring Ceramics and custom gift-wrapping by The Hardest Working Man in the Art Business, John Ross Palmer. April, 2013 -On the afternoon of Saturday, April 13, the John Palmer Art Gallery & Studio will kick-off its support of their 2013 Charity of the Year, Writers in the Schools, by unveiling an amazing art series inspired by the mission of WITS, to engage children in the pleasure and power of reading and writing. The exhibit will feature 16 original Palmer paintings and 10 incredible ceramic pieces. 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 1218 Heights Boulevard. Casual.
