John Ross Palmer Donations
The John Palmer Art Gallery and Studio of Houston, Texas is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and by appointment. Please call 713-861-6726 or text 281-224-0968 to set an appointment if you would like to meet with Houston’s Artist John Ross Palmer.
Over the course of John Ross Palmer’s 19-year career as a professional artist, he has helped Houston and national charities and nonprofit organizations raise hundreds of thousands of dollars through the generous donation of his time, his high-profile promotion of events and most importantly his valuable original artwork. If you are seeking the donation of a John Ross Palmer piece of artwork, please understand that our major commitment and pledge each year is to donate artwork to the nonprofit selected as our Charity of the Year. Currently, the most common donation outside of this dedicated relationship is a Private Painting Party for 10 at John Ross Palmer’s Private Art Studio in Houston – a retail value of $1,000. On these magical evenings, guests enjoy wine, champagne, delicious bites, a first-class art complex tour, instruction and lots of laughter with Artist John Ross Palmer, free-time for shopping and the opportunity to win a medallion for being named Artist of the Night. All painting supplies and aprons are included.
To request a donation, please e-mail Art Gallery Owner Ryan Lindsay at Ryan@JohnPalmerArt.com and copy Art Gallery Director Aubrey Burghardt at Aubrey@JohnPalmerArt.com. In the e-mail, please provide all requisite forms, event date and deadline for the potential donation.
As mentioned before, definitely keep in mind that John Ross Palmer Palmer created his Charity of the Year Program in 2011 to move away from giving piecemeal donations to events and auctions. These powerful partnerships with Outreach United (2011), Heifer International (2012), Writers in the Schools (2013), the League of Women Voters (2014), the Lone Star Veterans Association (2015), Houston Habitat for Humanity (2016), the H.E.A.R.T. Program (2017) and the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work (2018) have amplified his level of giving by focusing the very the large majority of his time, donation dollars and promotion to a single cause per year. However, exceptions can be considered. And, out-of-state exposure for Palmer is welcomed and appreciated.
